BODY SCULPT

A method of muscular reinforcement par excellence, the Body Sculpt combines step for the cardio side, and the Body Pump to accentuate the muscular work. it was created in the 90s by Les Mills, at the request of coaches wishing to combine energy expenditure and muscle strengthening.

 

What happens during a session ?

 

As its name suggests, Body Sculpt aims to help reshape your figure quickly. A class, lasting an average of 45 minutes, alternates cardio sessions, interspersed with weight training exercises performed with rubber bands, sticks or dumbbells in order to optimize the intensity of the effort.

 

What benefits in how long?

 

Abs and arm muscles are put to the test, allowing for quick upper body sculpting. Step movements also require a lot of coordination in the legs: a good way to work the thighs, calves and glutes. This discipline allows you to strengthen all parts of the body at the same time.

 

To obtain rapid results, Body Sculpt requires regular training: the ideal is to practice it at least three times a week to see its benefits. Each session burns up to 500 calories. At this rate, the first results are visible in 6 to 8 weeks and the muscles are much more developed.
